DoMore Diagnostics announces successful integration with the Sectra software platform for digital pathology
Oslo, Norway - DoMore Diagnostics, a leader in deep learning precision diagnostics in digital pathology, today announced its integration of the outcome prediction marker Histotype Px® Colorectal with the Sectra pathology imaging platform. This means that Sectra users can access Histotype Px® Colorectal within their existing digital pathology workflow. The application is featured in Sectra Amplifier Marketplace and can be purchased directly from DoMore Diagnostics.

The Histotype Px® Colorectal is a CE-IVD marked outcome prediction marker for stage II and III colorectal adenocarcinoma. The marker is a unique end-to-end trained deep learning algorithm to be applied on routine H&E-stained tissue samples from a surgically resected tumor. Combined with tumor and lymph node status, the output report provides information to oncologists about patients’ risk profile and 5-year cancer-specific survival. This information can be used to inform the decision of whether to provide adjuvant chemotherapy, as approx. 90% of these patients will not benefit from that treatment, only suffer from significant side effects.
The optimized workflow allows labs to easily perform the analysis. The report is made instantly available and can be viewed directly in Sectra’s platform, enabling an efficient workflow.
